Bigger IS Better

I don't get to do many art PR projects in Vancouver. That's probably because I don't get excited very often about the art events going on here. Don't get me wrong, I love the CAG, the VAG, the TAG, and Monte, but as far as art 'events' in town - they're few and far between. This is why I am so excited (and working my ass off to promote) the work of local mammoth painter Charles Forsberg. No one in Vancouver is producing work like this, which is why it is so important that people come out and support this amazing show. Giant paintings are going to be on display in an East Van warehouse space, and for one night, it's actually going to feel like this city has a major, legitimate, big city art scene instead of a safe, photo based, institution led strangle hold.
