School's Out for Summer

I know, I know, it's been up for two weeks now, but I did attend the opening of Vancouver School, brought to you by those crazy kids from Emily Carr who graduated in 1985, also known as Futura Bold. This seemed like a really Coupland led project, and although I liked the idea behind it, I found class to be a bit boring. Maybe I'm still jaded by such fond memories of the Basement Show, but it seems as though even old school just can't kick it like it used to. Good fun hanging out with my pal Mac though, who gave Coupland his start back in the days before anyone even knew the term Gen X.
